Introduction: Anxi Village is located at the south of Madou District. Travelers heading towards:
Tainan City must travel through this location. The Village is bordered by An'ye Village to the East and Xie'an Village to the West. The villagers are a simple and rustic folk. The jurisdiction of this Village includes the 4 settlements of Wukuaicuo, Dongbu, Zhuweizi, and Dongxizhou.
A Li Clan ancestral shrine has been built on the right side of Wukuaicuo Beiji Dian
(North Pole Temple at Wukuaicuo), providing offerings to High Ancestor Li Bie as well as the three generations that came after him. Li Bie was born on the 13th day of the 3rd Month in the 11th Year of Emperor Qianlong's reign, and died on the 23rd day of the 11th Month in the first year of Emperor Daoguang. The current Li Clan of Wukuaicuo are descended from Li Bie, who was considered the first generation to have arrived at Taiwan. The Li clan members today would be part of the 10th generation. Hence, it was estimated that Li Bie probably made his trip to Taiwan during the reign of Emperor Qianlong. Since his arrival, his Clan has flourished in Taiwan for over two centuries.
Most residents are rustic and simple farmers growing Wendan pomelos, avocados, great white pomelos, paddy, and other grains.
